«Mémoires d'un botaniste» is the botany work by Dominique Dupuy, published by Antigonos Verlag in paperback (380 pages, in French).
The book brings together the memoirs of the naturalist Dominique Dupuy and completes them with an inventory of the flora of the stations on the Midi railway line, in the Gers. The work thus offers a portrait of the region's vegetation in the mid-19th century, combining the author's personal journey with descriptions of the plants he encountered on his travels.
Modern facsimile reprint of the 1868 French edition, published by Antigonos Verlag in 2025.
It will appeal to readers of botany and natural history, as well as those studying the landscape and historical flora of south-western France.
