«Melancolía de sofá» is a book of articles and chronicles by Luisa Castro, published by Edicións Xerais in paperback (165 pages, in Galician).
The book brings together articles that Luisa Castro published over six years, in which she contemplates the beginning of the new century from an intimate perspective. It also raises the contradiction of writing in a newspaper, between the desire to influence current affairs and the temptation to remain silent: can one say something that is not gratuitous?
Work published in 2009 as a first edition within the Crónica collection of Edicións Xerais; the ISBN-10 is 8499140467.
Recommended for readers interested in author journalism, the chronicle and contemporary Galician literature.
