«Macrourbanisme i agressions al paisatge mediterrani» is the essay by Roger Cremades Rodeja, published by Editorial Riu Blanc in paperback (110 pages).
The essay starts from the contrast between childhood landscapes and a territory occupied by asphalt, roads and vanished irrigation channels. It analyses the transformation of the Valencian Community, where the huerta and the mountain are buried by a banal urbanism that erases the territory's identity, and sets out its causes and consequences.
Published in December 2007. The cover indicates the 3rd edition and the EstructurEs collection.
For readers interested in landscape ecology, urbanism and the Valencian territorial debate.
