«Los reyes carlistas. Los otros Borbones» is the historical work by José Luis Vila-San-Juan, published by Planeta in paperback.
It brings together the biographies of the nine pretenders who proclaimed themselves Carlist kings and reviews the events that marked each one. The author does not hide their merits or contradictions: he shows virtues and human weaknesses, values and political inconsistencies, and places this little-known «dynasty» in the intricacies of Spanish history.
It belongs to the Memoria de la Historia collection (no. 85) and the Personajes series. Includes bibliographic references and an index.
For readers interested in Spanish history, Carlism, and pretenders to the throne.
