«Literatura, adulterio y una Visa platino» is Carmen Posadas's collection of short stories, published by Editorial Planeta in hardback (208 pages, in Spanish).
In this volume, Carmen Posadas brings together short stories, some previously unpublished, preceded by a prologue. The stories combine love, heartbreak, intrigue, humour and surrealism, with characters from different social classes: travelling executives, brides, women writers and boarding-school children. These stories feel close to home and unsettling at the same time.
This book was published in May 2007 and belongs to the Autores Españoles e Iberoamericanos collection from Editorial Planeta.
For readers of short stories and short fiction in Spanish, especially those who enjoy contemporary fiction with irony and mystery.
Carmen Posadas is a prize-winning Uruguayan-Spanish author of books for children. She also writes for film and television. She is a recipient of the Premio Planeta de Novela. She became an honorary professor of the University of Peru in 2010.
