«Life and Laughing» is the autobiography of British comedian Michael McIntyre, published by Penguin in paperback (288 pages, in English).
With a warm tone and plenty of humour, Michael McIntyre looks back on his childhood and his roots in show business, his clumsy attempts at romance, the contrast of moving from a private school to a state school, and his early days in comedy. The narrative traces his career from selling a single ticket at the Edinburgh Festival to filling theatres on his tours, with personal anecdotes and lessons learned.
The cover subtitle is «My Story» and the book is presented as «The Number One Bestseller». It is the first volume in the «Michael McIntyre memoirs» series.
For readers of comedians' memoirs and fans of the British comedy scene.
