«L'home flac» is the crime novel by Dashiell Hammett, published by Edicions 62 in paperback (160 pages, in Catalan).
The couple formed by Nick and Nora Charles, a well-off married pair fond of cocktails, becomes involved in investigating a murder in New York. Hammett combines mystery with agile, ironic dialogue, in a work that is at once a comedy of manners and a detective novel.
Work originally published in 1934 under the title «The Thin Man»; this 1985 Catalan edition belongs to the Seleccions de la Cua de Palla collection.
A reference work for fans of classic crime fiction and the origins of the detective genre.
