«Lestat, el vampiro» is Anne Rice's vampire novel, published by Ediciones B in paperback (797 pages, in Spanish).
Lestat de Lioncourt narrates his own story in the first person, a perspective that contradicts Louis's account in Interview with the Vampire on several points. The novel spans centuries of vampiric existence with a gothic atmosphere, in a search for meaning and power.
Second novel of the Vampire Chronicles, after Interview with the Vampire. The original title, The Vampire Lestat, was published in 1985.
For readers of horror and gothic fantasy, especially those who have read Interview with the Vampire and want to know Lestat better.
Anne Rice was an American author of Gothic fiction, erotic literature, and Bible fiction. She is best known for writing The Vampire Chronicles. She later adapted the first volume in the series into a commercially successful eponymous film, Interview with the Vampire (1994).
