«Les Zarnak. Tome 1» is the children's novel by Julian Clary, published by ABC Melody in hardback (258 pages, in French).
Two hyenas from the African savannah, Spot and Sally, imitate tourists until they master their language and customs. When an English couple disappears, they assume their identities and settle in London as Fred and Amelia Zarnak, where their suburban life fills with absurd situations. With echoes of Roald Dahl, the novel combines humour and adventure.
First volume of the series «The Bolds»; the French edition was published in 2016 with illustrations by David Roberts.
Recommended for children aged 8 and up, especially if they like animal stories with humour and adventure.
