«Les Trobes en lahors de la Verge Maria» is the facsimile edition of the first Spanish incunable prepared by Luis Guarner, in paperback (37 pages).
The book reproduces the only known copy of a poetry collection composed in Valencian for a poetic contest in honour of the Virgin Mary and printed in Valencia around 1474. It includes the original text and modern versions of some poems prepared by Luis Guarner.
Published by the Instituto Nacional del Libro Español in 1974. The original printing came from the workshop of Alfons Fernández de Córdoba in Valencia; the text is in Valencian and the prologue and modern versions are in Spanish.
For those interested in medieval poetry, Valencian culture and the origins of printing in Spain.
