The famous Mr. Racine writes a play for Madame de Maintenon's students, the Colombes du Roi-Soleil. This is an opportunity to stand out and, who knows, be noticed by the King. Excitement is at its peak among the young girls. Will there be a role for each of them?
For financial reasons, Éléonore agrees to marry and leave France, but finds herself more destitute than ever when her fiancé dies suddenly. She then meets a young man who is looking for the philosopher's stone. He works for the prince, but achieves no results and is held captive. Éléonore flees to help him in his search. Finally, they will not find the secret of the philosopher's stone, but that of white gold: porcelain.
