«Les chiens de chasse» is the crime novel by Jørn Lier Horst, published by Gallimard in paperback (480 pages, in French).
William Wisting, an inspector suspended from duty, re-examines the case of Rudolf Haglund, convicted of the kidnapping and murder of Cecilia Linde, when the new lawyer claims the evidence was tampered with. The investigation may have blindly followed a first lead, like the «perros de caza», or been subject to outside manipulation.
Work originally published in Norwegian as «Jakthundene» (2012), translated into French by Hélène Hervieu. It is the eighth instalment in the Inspector William Wisting series.
For readers of Nordic noir and for those who follow the Inspector Wisting series.
