«L'ère du peuple» is the political essay by Jean-Luc Mélenchon, published by Fayard in paperback (144 pages, in French).
Mélenchon examines a world shaken by climate change and the reordering of powers, and criticises the turn of the French left under François Hollande. Faced with the contempt of the elites, he presents the people as an emerging actor and defends a citizen revolution that would lead France towards a Sixth Republic.
