«Legendy polskie dla dzieci» is a collection of legends by Mariola Jarocka and Bogusław Michalec, published by Aksjomat in hardback (80 pages, in Polish).
It brings together some of the best-known Polish legends and others less popular from different regions of the country. Among the former are those of the Wawel Dragon and the Golden Duck, and among the latter, the stories of the witches of Łysogóry and the water spirit that saved Opole.
The cover reproduces an old map of Poland with scenes of knights and a medieval market; the motto «Ciekawe miejsca, niezwykłe historie» accompanies the title.
Aimed at children and those seeking an introduction to the folklore and regional legends of Poland.
