«Le péché originel d'Israël» is the historical essay by Dominique Vidal, with Joseph Algazy, published by Atelier in paperback (207 pages).
The work examines the expulsion of the Palestinians based on the investigations of the so-called Israeli «new historians», who questioned the official version. It analyses the historiography of the Arab-Israeli conflict and of Jewish-Arab relations, and revises the established account of the creation of Israel and the Palestinian exodus.
The original subtitle is «L'expulsion des Palestiniens revisitée par les nouveaux historiens israéliens». Published in Paris in 1998, the volume includes bibliographic references.
For readers interested in the history of the Middle East, Israeli historiography and the Arab-Israeli conflict.
