«Le labyrinthe de la mort» is the fantasy gamebook by Ian Livingstone, published by Gallimard Jeunesse in paperback and in French.
In the city of Fang, the diabolical Baron Sukumvit has built a labyrinth full of traps and monsters. The reader is one of six champions who accept the Trial of Champions; only one will emerge with life and wealth. Decisions about the route, combats and risks shape the course of an adventure enjoyed with pencil and eraser.
This French edition is from 2013; the original title, Deathtrap Dungeon, appeared in 1984 within the Fighting Fantasy series, known in France as Défis fantastiques.
Recommended for young readers and adults fond of gamebooks, fantasy and role-playing classics.
