«Le guide de la comète de Halley» is Isaac Asimov's popular astronomy guide, published by France Loisirs in hardback and in French.
The work describes how comets work, the fear and superstitions they caused throughout history, and the work of astronomers in unravelling their mysteries. It pays special attention to Halley's Comet, its orbits and returns, and analyses the origin of comets and their relationship with the solar system.
It is the French translation of Asimov's Guide to Halley's Comet, a work originally published in English in 1985; this France Loisirs edition appeared in December 1985.
A popular science work for readers interested in astronomy and in the historical role of comets.
