«Le coq, la souris et la petite poule rousse» is the children's story by Jess Stockham, published by 1 2 3 Soleil in hardback with CD (26 pages, in French).
Adaptation of the classic tale of the little red hen: the protagonist handles the chores while the cockerel and the mouse do not help; when a fox appears, it is the hen's cunning that changes the situation. The updated text and illustrations full of humour and poetry renew the traditional story.
The book belongs to the «Livres CD» collection. It is the French version of The Cockerel, the Mouse and the Little Red Hen, translated by Cynthia Honoré.
Recommended for children aged 3 to 5, especially for reading aloud and for a first approach to classic tales with humour.
