«Le Chat» is the humour comic by Philippe Geluck, Serge Dehaes and Françoise Procureur, published by Casterman in hardback (48 pages, in French).
The cat, an anthropomorphic feline in a suit and tie, contemplates his own caricature in a newspaper and reflects on himself with absurd humour. The work accumulates panels in which the character, egocentric and witty, plays with language and everyday situations to push the logic of nonsense to the extreme. A classic of Belgian bande dessinée.
Originally published in 2002, it is part of the Le Chat comic series.
The work is aimed at fans of the character Le Chat and lovers of absurd humour.
