«La Bible selon le Chat» is the humour comic by Philippe Geluck, published by Casterman in hardback (192 pages, in French).
Philippe Geluck's cat becomes the narrator of creation and reviews with corrosive humour the great questions of humanity: the origin of the world, religion or the meaning of life. The panels parody Genesis from the character's absurd logic, with jokes about the human condition and the author's mordant tone.
It is volume 18 of the Le Chat series, published in 2013. Philippe Geluck writes and draws, with colour by Serge Dehaes.
For readers of humour comics and for fans of the Le Chat series looking for satire on religion.
Philippe Geluck is a Belgian comedian, humorist, television writer and cartoonist, who sold more than 14 million albums worldwide. He studied at the INSAS. His best-known work is the comic strip Le Chat, which is one of the ten bestselling Franco-Belgian comics series.
