«La vérité sur les ch'tis» is the humour comic by Monsieur B, published by Glénat in 2008 in paperback (48 pages, in French).
The comic ironically reviews the clichés about northern France and the ch'tis: the climate, the mines, the accent and the supposed sadness, contrasting them with the hospitality of its people. It alternates slice-of-life gags and satirical panels, and adds at the end a small dictionary of ch'ti expressions.
Published in 2008, it belongs to the series «La Vérité sur…» by Monsieur B., dedicated to debunking clichés with humour.
For readers who enjoy French graphic humour and stories about regional identity.
