Aerial photographs by Yann Arthus-Bertrand: lavender fields, vineyards, farmland and other landscapes seen from the sky. The images form a documentary view of the earth's geography and the human footprint, in line with the project portraying the beauty and fragility of the planet.
The original project, 'Earth from Above', was published in 1999 with the sponsorship of UNESCO; this French edition is from 2001.
Recommended for photography, nature and travel enthusiasts seeking an aerial view of the planet.
