«La Reina muy de cerca» is the biography of Queen Sofía written by Pilar Urbano, published by Booket in paperback (448 pages, in Spanish).
Journalist Pilar Urbano returns to the Zarzuela Palace thirteen years after her previous biography of Queen Sofía. Through interviews in which the Queen speaks in the first person, the book addresses how the Royal Family experienced the changes of those years: the separation of Infanta Elena and Jaime de Marichalar, the arrival of the grandchildren, the marriage of Prince Felipe to Letizia Ortiz and other public and private matters, from election nights and 11-M to her small personal confessions.
Special edition with unpublished material on the controversy that shook Spain. The title belongs to Booket's Gran Formato collection and was originally published in 2009.
For readers interested in the Spanish monarchy, recent Spanish history and journalistic biographies based on personal interviews.
