«La noche de las doscientas estrellas» is a collection of short stories by Nicolás Casariego, published by Lengua de Trapo in paperback (224 pages, in Spanish).
These are stories of characters of all ages and conditions who face existence with everyday heroism, between solitude and the search for meaning. Fireless dragons, an office worker invited to a costume party, or a camel in a ghostly contraband; Nicolás Casariego narrates them with irony, lyricism, and melancholy.
Volume 23 of the Nueva Biblioteca Collection; published in 1998.
For readers of contemporary fiction who appreciate short stories with everyday characters and an ironic, melancholic tone.
