«La mansión de los mutantes» is the short story collection by Paco López Mengual, published by Tres Fronteras in 2008 in paperback (62 pages, in Spanish).
Three stories make up this volume: a parade of bizarre and endearing characters treated with grotesque humour and touches of magical realism, with nods to Mihura, Cortázar and the deformities of Tod Browning.
The work belongs to the La Biblioteca del Tranvía collection; Paco López Mengual was born in Molina de Segura (Murcia) in 1962.
For readers of contemporary fiction looking for short stories with grotesque humour and a touch of magical realism.
