«La guitarra azul» is the novel by John Banville, published by Debolsillo in paperback, with 296 pages, in Spanish.
Oliver Orme, a painter who has lost his inspiration, compensates for his emptiness with small thefts that give him an almost erotic thrill. His obsession with Polly, the wife of his friend Marcus, drags him into a transgression whose consequences affect everyone and force him to reconcile with his past.
The novel was published in Spanish in 2019 under the original title The Blue Guitar, translated by Nuria Barrios.
For readers of contemporary literary fiction and Irish narrative.
