«La furia y los colores» is the autobiography of El Gran Wyoming, published by Planeta in hardback (416 pages, in Spanish).
Young José Miguel Monzón finishes Medicine and starts as a trainee doctor in Francoist Spain, a grey-toned country he wants to escape. The foreign and the world of show business become his route to a technicolor existence, and the book mixes his life journey with the chronicle of the Transition, the modern awakening of the eighties, and issues such as drugs, sex, music and politics. It is a vindicatory memoir, halfway between autobiography and social chronicle, told through everyday characters.
Volume in Planeta's No Ficción collection, with subtitle «Drogas, política y rock & roll». Published in 2019.
Aimed at readers interested in the Spanish Transition and in the career of the presenter and leader of Wyoming y los Insolventes.
