«La cultura como praxis» is Zygmunt Bauman's social theory essay, published by Ediciones Paidós in hardback (376 pages, in Spanish).
Bauman examines culture as concept, structure and praxis, presenting it as a living, changing phenomenon of human interactions, intrinsically ambivalent: an agent of disorder and a tool of order, a space of creativity and a framework of normative regulation. It includes an introduction connecting the work with his later thought.
Published in 2002 in the Studio collection, number 154, by Ediciones Paidós. The cover bears the badge of the 2010 Princess of Asturias Award for Communication and Humanities.
For readers interested in social theory, cultural studies and the thought of Zygmunt Bauman.

Zygmunt Bauman was a Polish–British sociologist and philosopher. He was driven out of the Polish People's Republic during the 1968 Polish political crisis and forced to give up his Polish citizenship. He emigrated to Israel; three years later, he moved to the United Kingdom. He resided in England from 1971, where he studied at the London School of Economics and became Professor of Sociology at the University of Leeds, later emeritus. Bauman was a social theorist, writing on issues as diverse as modernity and the Holocaust, consumerism in postmodernity, and liquid modernity.
