«La cuerda rota» is the poetry collection by José Ignacio Montoto, published by Renacimiento in paperback (72 pages, in Spanish).
The collection delves into the heart of woman through verses that dialogue with French lyric poetry and the Holy Scriptures. The rhythm and imagery of its poems give the whole a legendary and mythical air, with a sensibility that seeks the reader's complicity.
Winner of the Premio Andalucía Joven de Poesía 2013, it is part of the Otros títulos collection, number 131. First edition published in 2014.
Aimed at poetry readers and those who follow the work of José Ignacio Montoto or the winners of the Premio Andalucía Joven.
