«La conversión de Indalecio Prieto» is the historical biography by Ricardo de la Cierva, published by Plaza & Janés in paperback (294 pages, in Spanish).
Ricardo de la Cierva reconstructs the life of the socialist leader Indalecio Prieto from little-known material: unpublished, hidden or banned writings and letters exchanged over eleven years with a missionary nun. The collected material sheds light on Prieto's political and personal trajectory within the history of Spain.
«La conversión de Indalecio Prieto» belongs to the Época. Política Española collection; it is the first edition, published in Esplugues de Llobregat (Barcelona) in 1988.
Work aimed at readers interested in the political history of Spain, Spanish socialism and documented biographies of its protagonists.
Ricardo de la Cierva y Hoces was a Spanish historian and politician.
