«La comerciante de libros» is the historical and romantic novel by Brenda Vantrease, published by Embolsillo in paperback (536 pages, in Spanish).
In fifteenth-century Prague, Master Finn and his granddaughter Anna earn their living illuminating Bibles, a craft that clashes with ecclesiastical power. When the authorities intensify persecution, burn books, and execute heretics, both become embroiled in a plot of betrayal and romance in which owning a book can cost a life.
Second installment of Brenda Vantrease's The Illuminator series, translated into Spanish by Jofre Homedes Beutnagel.
For readers of historical and romantic fiction set in fifteenth-century Europe.
