«La bruixa de Diània» is the young adult fantasy novel by Anaïs Siscar Carrió, published by Edicions del Bullent in paperback (128 pages, in Catalan).
Margalida lives with her mother and grandmother in Diània, a small fishing village on the Mediterranean coast. The neighbours consider them strange and judge them without getting to know them; when Margalida's father disappears, rumours about his possible death spread through the village. The story suggests that reality does not always match appearances.
The novel belongs to the Esplai collection by Edicions del Bullent, of which this title is number 41. Recommended reading age: from 12 years.
For young readers aged 12 and over who enjoy young adult novels set in coastal villages and stories about prejudice and appearances.
