«La Brouille» is the children's picture book by Claude Boujon, published by L'École des Loisirs in paperback (40 pages, in French).
The story features two neighbour rabbits, Mr Brun, brown, and Mr Grisou, grey, who initially greet each other every morning and get along well. One bad day, a quarrel over some rubbish breaks that harmony and turns their dealings into a chain of reproaches, with humour and tenderness, in a tale about coexistence and friendship.
The edition of «La Brouille» belongs to the Lutin poche collection and its cover reproduces in watercolour the two protagonist rabbits.
Recommended for children aged 3 to 5, it works well as a read-aloud and as a first approach to illustrated stories.
