«La Biblia bastarda» is the historical novel by Mario Tascón and Fernando Tascón, published by Editorial Planeta in paperback (436 pages, in Spanish).
In January 1934, reporter Emilio Ruiz follows the trail of the oldest known Bible, the Codex Sinaiticus. The codex contains discrepancies about the life and death of Jesus Christ that could prove the Gospels have been manipulated. Journalists, spies, police, priests, and a mysterious librarian cross paths in the pursuit.
The work is based on a real book, the Codex Sinaiticus, and was published in Spain on 9 April 2013.
For readers of historical and adventure novels with an interest in religious mysteries and ancient manuscripts.
