«La alucinante historia de Juanito Tot y Verónica Flut» is Andrés Barba's children's fantasy novel, published by Siruela in hardback (88 pages, in Spanish).
Juanito Tot and Verónica Flut answer an ad from Klaus Wintermorgen, the world record-holder, who is looking for children capable of breaking records. Chosen from thousands, they have thirty days to achieve a feat that even the invincible Wintermorgen cannot surpass. On their journey they meet singular characters, such as the paper pilot Papeloto Pilopel or the inhabitants of Quinto Pino, in an adventure about friendship and self-improvement.
The work belongs to the Las Tres Edades collection, where it is number 173. The illustrations are by Rafa Vivas. Recommended reading age from 8 to 12 years.
Aimed at young readers from 8 years old, it also works as shared family reading thanks to its humour and its zany tone.
