Julio César. La grandeza del héroe

Synopsis of Julio César. La grandeza del héroe

«Julio César. La grandeza del héroe» is the historical biography by Hans Oppermann, published by Temas de Hoy in paperback, in Spanish.

The work focuses on the figure of Julius Caesar and the controversy he aroused: for some he was a hero and a master of the art of governing; for others, an ambitious man blinded by power. Oppermann offers a portrait of the ruler attentive to his duties and supports that interpretation with the readings of Theodor Mommsen and Leopold von Ranke.

Published in 1994, the work falls within the field of history and biography of ancient Rome.
