«Juego de espejos» is the mystery novel by Andrea Camilleri, published by Salamandra in paperback (224 pages, in Spanish).
An explosion in Vigàta puts Commissioner Montalbano on a case of contradictory clues and anonymous letters that make him suspect someone is manipulating him. His dealings with neighbour Liliana add confusion, and Montalbano, between reality and illusion, evokes the mirror scene from The Lady from Shanghai to distinguish the only true image.
Twenty-second instalment in the Inspector Montalbano series. Originally published in Italian as «Il gioco degli specchi», translated by Teresa Clavel Lledó.
For fans of the Inspector Montalbano series and lovers of crime fiction with an ironic detective and Sicilian setting.
Andrea Calogero Camilleri was an Italian writer best known for his Salvo Montalbano crime novels.
