«Journal d'une peste» is the young adult novel by Virginy L. Sam, published by Pocket Jeunesse in paperback (288 pages, in French).
Fannette, self-proclaimed pest, writes in her diary that life is meant to be enjoyed, that adults aren't always right, and that being yourself is what makes each person different. Along with the Confrérie des Pestes, she experiences absurd, humorous situations that invite questioning the rules of the adult world from a youthful perspective.
First volume of the «Journal d'une peste» series, of which more instalments featuring Fannette have been published.
Aimed at young readers aged around 9 to 12 who are looking for humorous stories close to their everyday lives.
