«Le châtiment de Basenhau» is the adventure comic by Peyo, first volume of «Johan et Pirlouit», published by Dupuis in 1986, with 48 pages, in French.
Johan is a squire at the king's court. During a tournament he discovers that the lord of Basenhau has sabotaged the lance of the count of Tréville; he warns the count and the cheat is unmasked before the king. Banished and humiliated, Basenhau swears revenge on the count and the monarch, starting a medieval adventure full of knights, tournaments and intrigues.
