«J.C. El sueño de Dios» is the historical novel by Miguel Aranguren, published by Homo Legens in paperback (582 pages, in Spanish).
The story delves into the intimacy of the family that welcomed Jesus of Nazareth and recreates the environment in which a child presented as extraordinary grew up. It begins with Jesus's return home after weeks of absence and, through the question of who he is, raises a reflection on his identity and legacy. It is a narrative novel, not a spirituality book, as the back cover itself highlights.
First edition published in December 2018. The back cover presents it as the best of Miguel Aranguren's novels.
Recommended for readers of historical and religious fiction interested in a narrative approach to the figure of Jesus of Nazareth.
