«Jack Folla. Alcatraz. Un DJ nel braccio della morte» is the novel by Diego Cugia, published by Mondadori-Rai Eri in paperback.
An Italian DJ, Jack Folla, awaits his execution in the electric chair at Alcatraz. From the prison's microphones he broadcasts music and words, and during the 260 days before the execution he launches a critique against hypocrisy and mediocrity with direct language; his call for change is aimed above all at young people.
Written in Italian and published in 2000, part of the I miti del 2000 collection; it is inspired by the transgressive RAI programme.
The work is aimed especially at young people seeking a critical message about society and a stimulus for change.
