«Inventando a Lope» is the dramatic comedy by Nando López, published by Ediciones Antígona in paperback (102 pages, in Spanish).
After the death of Marta de Nevares, Lope de Vega receives Ana Caro and María de Zayas, two women with secrets and literary ambition. The encounter evokes a Midsummer Night shared long ago and plays with the boundary between the real and the imagined. The work includes humour, love, poetry, Baroque references and a homage to the Golden Age.
First edition published in 2020. It belongs to the Teatro collection of Ediciones Antígona, number 177.
Work aimed at readers of contemporary theatre and fans of the Golden Age.
