Il y a longtemps que je t'aime

Synopsis of Il y a longtemps que je t'aime

«Il y a longtemps que je t'aime» is the novel by Nicole Avril, published by France Loisirs / Flammarion in hardback (242 pages, in French).

Antoine recalls his youth in the 1980s and 1990s: after being thrown out of the house by his mother, he takes refuge with his father near the Eiffel Tower, in a house with a large studio. There lives Pauline, a photographer and his father's wife, whom Antoine believes he hates but watches relentlessly. It is an evocation of an era of fleeting images and frivolities, and of love for Pauline.
