«Il volo delle 12.30 da Croydon» is the mystery novel by Freeman Wills Crofts, published by Polillo in paperback (363 pages, in Italian).
A passenger is found dead on a British plane upon landing at Beauvais (France): he is Andrew Crowther, a rich man travelling to see his daughter. The narrative goes back four weeks to show his nephew Charles preparing an apparently perfect crime and an alibi, in an inverted story that presents the offence from the criminal's perspective.
Original title: The 12:30 from Croydon, originally published in 1934. Belongs to the Inspector French series; translation by Sara Caraffini.
For fans of classic mystery novels, especially those who follow the Inspector French series.
