«I poeti morti non scrivono gialli» is the mystery novel by Björn Larsson, published by Iperborea in paperback (288 pages, in Italian).
A publisher commissions a poet to write a crime novel and finds him dead on his boat. Inspector Barck believes it is suicide, but the poet had motives and compromising material; Larsson satirises the publishing industry and reflects on the literary vocation.
Translation from Swedish by Katia De Marco. Number 10 in Iperborea's Ombre collection.
For readers of crime fiction who appreciate irony, criticism of the publishing world and literary depth.
