«Homilies catequètiques» is the catechetical work of Theodore of Mopsuestia published by Pòrtic in paperback (284 pages, in Catalan).
Theodore of Mopsuestia (c. 350-428), of the Antiochene exegetical school, delivered these homilies for baptismal candidates: they explain the creed, the Lord's Prayer, and the rites of baptism and the Eucharist. They are an exceptional witness to patristic catechesis and liturgy, recovered after their publication in 1932-1933.
Volume 79 of the «Clàssics del Cristianisme» collection, with translation by Sebastià Janeras Vilaró. Published in 2000.
For those interested in theology, the history of Christianity and liturgy, as well as readers of patristic sources and ancient catechesis.
