«Hitchcock Blonde» is a play by Terry Johnson, published by A&C Black in paperback (112 pages, in English).
A media professor and his protégée find deteriorated footage that could be from a Hitchcock film. The play explores which film it might be and who the mysterious blonde is, in a theatrical film-noir atmosphere blending genius, lust, death and voyeuristic obsession; Hitchcock himself might make a cameo.
Published to coincide with the Royal Court Theatre production in March 2003; the cast includes Rosamund Pike, Fiona Glascott, Alexander Delamere and Victoria Gay.
For readers interested in contemporary theatre, Alfred Hitchcock and film noir.
