«Herinneringen» is the autobiographical novel by Torgny Lindgren, published by De Geus in hardback (188 pages, in Dutch).
After half a century devoted to imagination, the narrator claims to have no memories to share. In this autobiographical narrative, Lindgren plays with the boundary between fiction and reality: the author resists writing his memoirs while unfolding episodes from his life, offering a key to understanding his work as a whole.
Original publication in Swedish: «Minnen» (2010); this 2012 Dutch edition is translated by Lia van Strien.
Recommended for Dutch readers who want to approach Torgny Lindgren's work through one of his most personal narratives.
