Habrá una vez un hombre libre

Synopsis of Habrá una vez un hombre libre

«Habrá una vez un hombre libre» is the poetry collection by Ignacio Escuín Borao, published by Huacanamo in 2009 in paperback (80 pages, in Spanish).

The book brings together poems that move from dark poetry to a clearer, more vital one, in a journey through the city, love and death that culminates in a reflection on freedom. It includes verses such as those from «Lisboa» and the declaration «No más versos oscuros ni en este papel ni en mi vida ni en mi cama».

It is the first edition of Huacanamo's Poesía collection, published on 1 October 2009.

For readers of contemporary Spanish poetry seeking a direct, accessible voice, far from hermeticism.
