«Ha vuelto» is the satirical novel by Timur Vermes, published by Booket in paperback (384 pages, in Spanish).
In 2011, Hitler wakes up in Berlin and discovers an unrecognizable Germany: at peace, multicultural, and governed by a woman. Mistaken for an impersonator, he triumphs on television and uses the fame to relaunch his political career. The satire, told by Hitler himself, shows Hitler's twisted logic and raises the question of what harm he could cause today.
Work originally published in German as «Er ist wieder da»; the Spanish translation is by Carmen Gauger. Booket edition published in Barcelona in January 2017.
For readers of political satire and dark humor, with an interest in contemporary fiction and critique of media society.
